One Sunday morning a country boy decided to go to church. He walked in the door and was shocked to find the church was completely empty. When he saw the preacher, he asked, “Have I got the wrong day?” “No, this is the right day,” the preacher assured him. “There’s just not been many people coming to church lately. Shall we go ahead with the service?” asked the preacher. The country boy answered. “Well, if I went to feed my cattle and only one showed up, I’d sure feed him.”
So the preacher launched into his full sermon and before he knew it, two and a half hours had gone by. As the country boy was leaving the preacher asked him how he liked the sermon.”Well, Sir, if I went to feed my cattle and only one showed up, I sure wouldn’t feed him all the hay!”
